Ustadha Sozan Zaghmout is beloved by many sisters in Doha for her heartfelt reminders and unwavering dedication towards sharing her love for her faith with others. As the teacher of One Step Closer, she has helped nurture hearts, nourish souls, and inspired the spiritual growth of many sisters amidst a beautiful sisterhood.
With over 17 years of experience in community development, education, and leadership, Ustadha Sozan is passionate about designing meaningful experiences that draw hearts closer to Allah. Through In the Shade of His Names, she hopes to inspire sisters along a journey of reflection, renewal, and deeper connection with Allah.

Group flight details (flights not included)
One group organizer will be on each of the following flights. If joining from Doha, you are required to book either of these flights routes. If joining from outside Doha, you can use these group flight details to plan and arrange your own travel accordingly.
Option 1: Qatar Airways
If you are a student, be sure to check out Qatar Aiway's Student Club for any potential discounts and travel benefits that may apply!
Option 2: Air Arabia
Sisters are responsible for arranging their travel to arrive at the same time or before the second group's arrival at 2:15pm to Colombo on Thursday, August 20th.
Departure from Colombo back to Doha or your respective home country must also be booked for 3pm onwards on Friday, August 28th.
The group will not be able to advance or delay departures or activities to accommodate late arrivals or early departures. If a sister misses the designated meeting time, she will be responsible for arranging and covering the cost of her own transportation to rejoin the group.
If you choose to fly transit, you are responsible to check and ensure you meet any transit visa requirements in the country in which you will be transiting in.

Receive Your Invitation
If everything is in order and places are still available, we'll contact you with an invitation to join the retreat.
Secure Your Spot
Flight Booking and Package Payment must be made within 12 hours of receiving an invitation.
Your place is secured once flight booking and package payment has been received.
Important Information
Eligibility
Sisters must be 18 years of age or older at the time of travel, and able to travel independently. Applications from sisters under 18 may be considered if accompanied by their mother or a female guardian.
International Travel
This retreat involves international travel. Sisters are responsible for ensuring they hold a valid passport, meet all visa requirements, and comply with any travel regulations applicable.
Visa
Unless you do not require a Visa, obtaining an E-Visa is required for this retreat. Sisters are responsible for checking whether they are eligible to apply for a Sri Lanka Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) for their nationality using the Sri Lankan government website: https://eta.gov.lk/slvisa/
If you are eligible, you are responsible for submitting your ETA application (Sri Lanka Address: Amaya Hills Kandy), paying any applicable visa fees, and ensuring you meet all entry requirements before departure (including any transit visa requirements if you choose to fly transit).
Travel/Health Insurance
Travel insurance is not included in the retreat package. All sisters must obtain their own travel insurance, and/or at least have adequate health insurance valid for the duration of the retreat dates in order to cover medical emergencies and other unforeseen circumstances.
Program Flexibility
Our retreat program is carefully planned but remains subject to change. Occasional adjustments to the itinerary, accommodation, activities, or schedule may be necessary due to weather, local conditions, operational requirements, or other circumstances. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we strive to provide the best possible retreat experience while prioritizing the safety, wellbeing, and comfort of all participants.
Force Majeure
In the event of extraordinary circumstances beyond our reasonable control—including natural disasters, pandemics, government travel restrictions, airline disruptions, civil unrest, political instability, or armed conflict—we reserve the right to postpone, modify, or cancel the retreat if necessary for participant safety and wellbeing. We cannot accept responsibility for costs or losses arising from such unforeseen events, and participants are required to obtain appropriate travel insurance.
Photography
Photography and videography may be captured throughout the retreat for promotional and marketing purposes. By participating in the retreat, you consent to being photographed and filmed.
Participant Responsibility
Participants are expected to uphold Islamic etiquette, follow guidance from retreat organizers, be responsible for their personal belongings, medical conditions, travel documents, and wellbeing.
